What is covered? Birch
and Poplar Plywood panels (5.2mm 5.5mm and 6.0mm), underlayments are
warranted not to warp, buckle, delaminate or stain the finished floor
due to the failure of the underlayment. All Underlayments must be
installed in accordance with the installation and handling instructions
recommended by the manufacture
What will Floor-Ply Ltd Do? If any Underlayment panels should fail to meet the above conditions, we will do one of the following:
Supply replacement panels; or
Refund the full purchase price of the panels; or
Repair or replace underlayment, adhesive and floorcovering affected; or
Refund the full cost of the underlayment, adhesive and floorcovering affected and reasonable cost of labor
Company
liability for any claim shall be limited to the cost of the
underlayment installation, adhesives, and floor covering at dealers
cost affected by the panel’s failure.
Claims Procedure
Should
any of the warranted problems occur, you must notify the dealer where
the underlayment was purchased within thirty days of the
defect being discovered. A sales representative
of Floor-Ply Ltd or other approved representative
must be given the opportunity to inspect the floor prior to any
alteration, change, or repair.
Exceptions and Exclusions
Damage due to movement or irregularities in the subfloor caused by faulty construction or settling of the structure.
Damage
due to: improper installation, handling, or acclimation of all
Underlayment panels; floorcovering material; or other materials that
are part of the floor system.
Damage due to standing water, fire, floods, natural disasters, or faults and failures of the plumbing system.
Damage
due to defects or failures of patch compounds, fillers, adhesives, seam
sealers, fasteners, subfloor, or other materials that can affect the
performance, and/or visual appearance of the entire floor.
